Lacerta trilineata cariensis (Carian Balkan Green Lizard) [in Turk. İri Yeşil Kertenkele, Yılan Ebesi] (Male)

This is the second post of this handsome lizard while basking on a rock which I captured at the trip to Yamanlar Mountain (approx. 1000m asl).

The subscpecific name, “cariensis” is came after the name of this Ancient Region of Anatolia, Caria, including its distribution (Izmir, Aydin and Denizli provinces).
